Press release: Tapping the keg for a great cause

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mobility Freedom Foundation serves up fun at its Inaugural Fundraiser at Yards Brewery in Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon June 2

PHILADELPHIA, April 29-- Raise a glass and join the Mobility Freedom Foundation for its Inaugural Fundraiser and Celebration on Sunday afternoon, June 2 at Yards Brewing Company in Philadelphia. Proceeds from the event will help disabled individuals in the Philadelphia region to regain their independence by driving adaptive vehicles.

Mobility Freedom Foundation was created from the experiences of its founder, Alle Aldrich, a forensic accountant based in Philadelphia. She quickly discovered the harsh reality that driving can be prohibitively expensive and a common barrier for the disabled. Aldrich started the foundation with a clear purpose - to remove this barrier and give individuals the freedom they deserve. Part of the celebration will include a silent auction, raffle, brewery tours, and demonstrations of service dogs in action.

“We’ve worked very hard to organize a fundraising event that will be memorable while raising money to help the disabled right here in the Philadelphia area,” said Aldrich, who was recently featured on 6abc for her good works in the community.

Aldrich points out that the foundation’s mission is committed to inclusivity. “We are dedicated to empowering individuals with mobility challenges by raising funds to provide wheelchair accessible vehicles and adaptive modifications,” she says.

“We firmly believe in a world where mobility is not a privilege but a fundamental right. We are dedicated to making this vision a reality, one vehicle at a time. Our work is not just about providing the means to drive again; it is about restoring confidence, dignity, and freedom to those who thought they had lost it.” Aldrich says.  “Together, we can make a difference, one vehicle at a time.”
